Xech Warranty Policy
Despite our stringent standards and quality checks, there is sometimes a case when the product you have ordered from us is damaged or functionally defective. Xech’s warranty policy aims to offer quality assurance to customers.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Any damage resulting from the use of the product in conjunction or connection with accessories, products not approved by Xech.
Any damage caused by repair work performed by any unauthorized repair center / attempted by the end user.
Any product that has the serial number / identification label / safety label has been defaced, altered or removed.
Any tampering/ unauthorized apps/ software programs installed subsequently.
Repair or replacement will be carried out through Xech’s Service Centres only.
No repair attempt is made by non-authorized person before bringing the product to Xech service centres.
The Warranty is applicable if said product is in warranty period and ONLY if following conditions are met:
•This warranty applies only to Xech Products purchased within the territory of India (“Territory”).
•This warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only.
•Defects / Damages which are caused due to reasons beyond control like abnormal voltage, lightning, while in transit to service centre or acts of God.
• Product will be deemed out of warranty if customer uses the product with sub standard / non-standard accessories like adaptors and cables, where the company provides the accessories with the product and yet the customer chooses to use other sub-standard or different specifications accessories which are not as per ratings mentioned in the specs of the product or in-case.
• Only products which are supported by invoice/bill, which the customer has to share with Xech at the time of request.
•Defects / damages are NOT caused by improper use.The product is strictly used according to instructions given in the instruction manual and is not physically damaged / burnt / with connectors or cables damaged, etc.
•No alteration or modification of any nature is made in the body, casing, circuitry, or software of the product.
•All expenses & risks incurred in shipping the product to the company’s authorised service centre will be borne entirely by the customer.
•In case of damages caused by transportation / courier when product is sent to Xech service center, we would treat it “out of warranty” because of physical damage and will do repairs on paid basis.
•Xech may pay for return courier charges only but accepts no responsibility of any damages/loss during transit.
•If the product is not repairable, Xech may provide an equivalent product, with minor differences, or may offer a credit note of the invoice value of the Product. Here,it is the customer’s responsibility to deposit all the accessories of the product.
If not, then reasonable charges shall be deducted for the same.
DOA (Dead on Arrival Product- If Product you receive is damaged or defective)
Xech is strongly committed to ensure your complete customer satisfaction with every products that you buy from us.
Despite our stringent quality checks and best efforts, in an unlikely / rare case when the product you ordered from us is damaged or functionally defective or if it’s not as per your order, we request you to immediately raise a complaint with us on firstname.lastname@example.org with your complete contact details & copy of invoice.
You need to return the unused product in as-is condition, with its original packaging along with original contents provides like manual, accessories within 48 hrs from the date on which these goods are received.
Any Xech product that has any defect, at the point of sale or within 7 days of product delivery, will be termed as Dead on Arrival (DOA).
Products damaged while being used DO NOT qualify for a replacement or refund but can be taken up in warranty.
Under all circumstances, the decision whether Product is Dead on Arrival or not rests solely with Xech.
Note: DOA shall NOT be considered under the following conditions :
.In case the product defect is NOT reproduced/detected/ seen at Service Center.
.Any issues related to or caused by any 3rd party products/apps/services etc
Software related issues that can be fixed like App updates.
Invoice copy of the purchase bill will be necessary to claim a DOA case.
Support for Out of Warranty Products
Warranty Terms and Conditions are subject to change without any prior notice.
•Xech Products will be repaired only if they are repairable (as decided by Xech service center) and repair will be done under chargeable basis (charges for the repairs, spares, servicing cost and it would be informed to the customer before repair).
•In case the product is not repaired, it will return the same defective product to the customer.
•A warranty of maximum 20 days would be given on the product repaired by Xech that too ONLY for same problem submitted to service centre.

The warranty is issued at Mumbai, and Courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this warranty.
